KOSHERHOTEL · INFORMATION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Privacy Notice
What we collect, why we use it, who receives it and how to exercise your rights.
Version 2026-10-31 · Effective 31 October 2026 · English source text; automatic translations available through the language selector.
1. Controller and contact
SWISS X TRADE LTD (UK company number 16687219) operates KosherHotel and is responsible for personal data used to run the platform. Registered office: Flat 63 Highstone Mansions, 84 Camden Road, London, England, NW1 9DY. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@kosherhotel.net. A host receiving guest information is separately responsible for its use of that information in providing accommodation.
2. Information processed
Depending on what you do and provide, information may include account name, email and verification status, phone and profile details; accommodation and host business/contact information; uploaded photographs and certification details; reservation dates, room or property, guest numbers, price estimates, request status and relevant communications; optional host bank/payee instructions for direct payments; consent and security records, IP addresses and technical logs. We do not collect card details to process accommodation payments through the current free service. Do not upload passports, card data, passwords, medical records or other private documents to the AI assistant or public listings. We do not require users to state their religion; avoid putting sensitive personal information in free-text questions.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use account, listing and request information to provide the platform and administer requests, generally to perform our contract with you or take requested pre-contract steps. We use proportionate security, abuse prevention, service administration and complaint information for our legitimate interests in a safe, functional service, taking account of users’ rights. We process records where needed for legal obligations or legal claims. Optional analytics and optional AI submissions use the consent controls shown for those features. Marketing, if offered, needs a separate appropriate legal basis; creating an account does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
4. Guests, hosts and service providers
Relevant request and contact information is shared with the host to handle your reservation request and stay. Host information is shown or shared as needed for the listing and direct guest–host arrangements. Technical providers support hosting, email delivery, security and operation; the website is hosted through A2 Hosting / hosting.com. Google provides the optional translation tool and, only after analytics consent, Google Analytics. OpenAI receives the text or public listing link that you deliberately submit through the AI feature. We may disclose information where lawfully required or necessary to handle abuse or legal claims. We do not sell personal data or send booking forms to advertising platforms for profiling.
5. AI and automatic translation
AI submission is optional. When you select its consent control and submit, the provided text or link is sent to OpenAI to answer or prepare a draft. Our AI API requests use store:false; this is not a promise of zero provider-side security or abuse-monitoring retention. Do not send private documents or unnecessary personal information. Generated answers may contain errors and drafts must be reviewed. Google’s automatic translation processes visible page text to provide the language feature; avoid posting private information in public content. Provider privacy terms also describe their processing. No AI output by itself confirms a reservation or awards a verified star level.
6. Optional analytics and cookies
Analytics is off until you allow it. When allowed, Google Analytics receives basic page visits, device/browser and usage information; Google also processes connection information such as IP addresses when receiving requests. Our implementation omits URL queries and fragments, removes accommodation slugs from measured URLs, uses general page titles, leaves referrers blank, and does not pass account IDs or booking form values. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled, and automatic enhanced measurement is off. Account, admin and supplier pages are excluded from this tracker. You can withdraw consent through Cookie preferences. See the Cookie Notice for current storage details.
7. Storage duration and international processing
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant account, listing, reservation administration, security, legal requirement or claim. Criteria include whether the account or listing remains active, the end of a stay, unresolved disputes, applicable limitation periods and legal record-keeping obligations. Some historical records may need to remain after an account closes; unnecessary data can be removed or anonymised. Our first-party analytics consent choice lasts 6 months; Google Analytics cookies set by our tag have a maximum configured lifetime of 180 days. Providers may process information outside the UK or your country, including the US. Any restricted transfers must use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards where required. Contact us for information about relevant providers, retention or safeguards for your request.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful use. Email info@kosherhotel.net; we may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Rights can have lawful exceptions, for example where records are required for a legal claim. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent supervisory authority, including where you live if applicable. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated processing.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this notice when the service or processing changes and will provide additional notice where required. The version date appears below. Contact us before sending unnecessary sensitive information. For a complaint about a host’s separate processing, you may also need to contact that host directly; this does not limit your rights against the platform for its own processing.
